A bit about me

Having a passion to ensure everyone has the right to be safe and not exposed to workplace related injuries and ill health has been a driver for myself for many years.

I have worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. I spent 10 years as head of Health and Safety for a high end main contractor before setting up Safer Site Solutions. I have seen the devastation caused by a lack of health and safety in the workplace and understand what it takes to work alongside my clients to provide a safe working environment.

Our Services

Health & Safety Policy

For companies with over five employees it is a legal requirement to have a written health and safety policy detailing your organisations approach to managing health and safety. Safer Site Solutions can write your bespoke policy.

Your Competent Person

We will act as your legally appointed competent person as required by the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

Safety Audits

We can carry out comprehensive safety audits and inspections at your workplace or office. Should we find any potential hazards we will provide recommendations and any solutions to close these out. We can also carry out one off visits if required.

Risk Assessments and Method Statements

We have a library of templates available for you to use and can also carry out job specific RAMS's if required.

Construction Phase Plan

As stated by the CDM 2015 Regulations a Construction Phase Plan is required on any project where one or more contractors will be working on your project. We can put this together for you with the Pre Construction information gathered from the Principal Designer.

Accident Investigation

In the unfortunate event of an accident or incident we can visit site and carry out a full investigation report for you. We can also assist with RIDDOR reporting.

Management Advice

Providing support and assistance to senior management and directors to ensure you are meeting your statutory duties and responsibilities in line with current legislation. This can include monthly / quarterly meetings providing statistics of the H&S performance on sites audited.

We can carry out a comprehensive overview of your site and provide you with equipment to set up your project, including signage, canteen equipment, first aid, PPE and much more. Ensuring your site is compliant, secure, working efficiently and most importantly allowing you valuable time to concentrate on the day-to-day aspects of running of your projects. Setting up a site correctly is key to protecting employees health, safety and welfare.
